  • How can I contact Red Rooster festival?
    General Enquiries: info@redrooster.org.uk Press: karen@orbitpr.net Sponsorship: brennan@thedarkhorses.com
  • What can I bring into the festival?
BBQs & CAMPFIRES Small BBQ's are ok, but no big gas bottles are permitted. Of course, no problem on small camping stoves too for a cup of tea or a breakfast sandwich. However, we have some fantastic food on offer and you’re not gonna’ not try it! You’re not allowed to start your own campfire, but we have provided lots of them around the festival for you. You can bring as much cold food as you wish. INSTRUMENTS Bringing your own musical instruments such as banjos, fiddles and guitars are always welcome and encouraged, for some great camp fire action. We are full of musicians. CAN I BRING ALCOHOL? You are permitted to bring along either 6 cans of lager/cider or a bottle of wine, decantered into a plastic bottle. Boxes of wine also fine. Our strict no-glass policy is still in place, for your safety and particularly with so many little ones rolling about, but you can decant your drinks into other containers of course. DOGS Dogs are permitted onsite, but only if you have already purchased a dog ticket - we are afraid to say these have been sold out for some time. We have to limit the number of dogs (unfortunately) so if you don't already have a dog ticket, we're afraid it's not possible to bring your dog. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Please look after your dog in the campsite and clean any mess. KIDS Kids Tickets are for those 12 years and under. We do a very cheap teen ticket also, for those between the ages of 13 and 18. Kids receive a paper wristband on entry and you should write an adult's phone number on the wristband should we need to contact you. WHEN CAN I ARRIVE? Campsites to the festival are open from 9am, to help bring any traffic off the road and give you the time to settle in. The gates close for entry at 8pm - you can leave at any time you wish of course, but when arriving you need to arrive by 8pm.
  • What facilities are available?
We have ample numbers of toilets in the main festival arena and campsites. Showers are available in the campsite and a few quid per shower, in excellent and clean shower units.
  • Do you have accessible toilets?
Yes of course. The Red Rooster site is also very accessible, has very strong ground even when a bit wet, plus it’s nice and flat. Red Rooster has a dedicated accessible camping area, which also has an accessible shower. We offer a free carer ticket to those that need one - Simply book your festival tickets, then email info@redrooster.org.uk with your booking confirmation and we can add a carer ticket to your order manually.
  • Can I drive into the campsite?
Camping and parking are separate but they are extremely close to each other - Between 100 and 200 metres.
