It's not just about great music at Red Rooster
Check out what we had in store in 2023
2024’s details announced soon!
If its relaxation you’re after, Heilsa Therapies are on hand for massages and a variety of other treatments, the perfect way to rejuvenate yourself for another incredible night of music and cocktails!
Dog lovers will have the House of Mutt and their trainer’s onsite to answer all your canine questions, as well as test your dog’s agility around their obstacle course.
Our barber shop will also be open and we will be announcing on our socials soon with opportunities to book in your haircut or wet shave before you arrive – this way you can be fully prepared for looking dapper all weekend.
Kids can get into the party spirit with our Mardi-Gras Parades, morning motivational dance warm ups, face-painting, and tin foil fashion shows. For the playful ones, partake in a game of fancy-dress football, giant twister or disco pass the parcel. For the wild ones, they can go mad in our climbing frames and get den building in the woods. For the competitive ones, get involved in our traditional carnival games, tug of war, hook a duck, Wild West tin can alley and much more to explore.
We’ll have vintage stores galore, the cigar box guitar workshops, flower headdress workshops, devil’s poker lounge, our croquet lawn, football tables, and why not try your skill at the main stage, with axe throwing from the Flying Iron Company.
The Back to Wilderness team will be providing a selection of short workshops to choose from. Learn how to give life to fire, carve a spoon, make a small basket, see a variety of survival traps from around the world & you can also learn the art of axe & knife throwing.
TV's Will Lord
From casting your minds back thousands of years in time and learning skills from the Stone Age with Will Lord, or if you prefer your history a little more recent, The Vintage Hot Rod Association will be on hand to show off some of their incredible pre-1949 American cars.
Experience and learn some new skills such as a butchery demonstration by Martin Anderson From Out of the Ashes, a BBQ Master Class from T-Bone and Genevieve Taylor or enjoy being "breaducated" by former Baker of the Year David Wright AKA the Breaducator.
Our ever-popular River Swimming will be the perfect way to cool off from the baking sun (yes, we’ve already booked in the Summer sunshine!), with life guards on hand to look after you all, but if donning your trunks isn’t your thing, we’ll have our Swan Pedalos to hire so you can take your own trip down the beautiful broadwater.
