Joe Harvey Whyte & Bobby Lee

A new duo project between ambient pedal steel explorer Joe Harvey-Whyte (TheHanging Stars) and psych-country guitarist Bobby Lee, taking in Paris, Texas-esquedusty instrumentals, west coast canyon-rock, brit-folk pastoralism, kosmische choogle and new-age mellowness. The pair bonded over their broad church approach tocosmic country, where Eno and Arthur Russell stand shoulder to shoulder with Gramand JJ Cale. Individually, they’re both rare torch bearers of ambient americana on this side of the Atlantic. Bobby and Joe’s duo album is due Autumn 2024.
