2014 Line Up
The Jim Jones Revue
It’s 4 short years since The Jim Jones Revue exploded into the nation’s consciousness with the release of their visceral, back-to-rock’n’roll-basics debut album, of which Mojo Magazine proclaimed, “If Little Richard had written this he’d still be boasting about it today!”
When Bruce Springsteen was asked by Edward Norton during his interview at the Toronto Film Festival about what music he was listening to these days his reply was simple and direct: “Pete Molinari – and if you don’t know anything about him, he’s great”.
The Urban Voodoo Machine
A London collective of shadowy ne’er do wells, led by Norwegian born Paul-Ronney Angel, featuring between 7 to 12 musicians playing everything from guitars to bottles & tie racks.
It’s the easiest, grooviest funk for mind and body….The apposite sound. A primal juggernaut. A dirty 40’s locomotive with a full head of steam, no brakes and the engine drivers on hallucinogenics with a sharp blade that keeps flippin’ to see the stars sparkle in the steel.
Scoundrels are a four piece “rock n’ cruddy soul” band from the UK. They were the first band to be signed to the recently revived label Blue Horizon (home to The Bluesbreakers, Fleetwood Mac, Champion Jack Dupree etc).
Playing music anywhere from the streets to the stadiums, from busking to barmitzvahs, from the clubs to the King’s palaces, CC Smugglers – a rag-tag British 6 piece busker band, have been described as ‘genuinely innovative, creative and contemporary’.
Described as a “hard-working sweetheart of the rodeo” Danni hones her craft, gigging and touring the UK and US with her trusty Tanglewood parlour guitar wooing audiences with her emotionally charged, soulful Americana songs
