Great Sea Gospel

Euston's very own "Izo FitzRoy," sister to The Duke, heads up this formidable choir. Izo began performing gospel with Soul Sanctuary gospel choir back in 2006 at the age of 21. She began as a tenor member of the choir, performing as both soloist and choir singer, and in 2010 she began composing for the choir and occasionally directing.

In 2012 she joined Urban Voices Collective as a tenor singer. Her time with Urban Voices Collective lead to performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall supporting Paloma Faith and the Guy Barker Orchestra, as well as supporting The Who, Laura Mvula and Rufus Wainright at The Royal Festival Hall and Gary Barlow at The Royal Variety Performance.

In 2014, Izo moved to New Orleans and soon joined St Joan of Arc Gospel Choir in Carrollton, New Orleans. It was here that Izo immersed herself in traditional southern gospel and its history.
