The Brass Volcanoes
The Brass Volcanoes, based in London, are inspired by the New Orleans brass band tradition, while also incorporating influences from other cultures and genre’s. This is all tied together with top class musicianship and a sense fun, giving the band its own unique sound. Sousaphone player Graham Hughes formed the Brass Volcanoes in 2007, and from the outset the focus was on spontaneity, energy, interaction and joy.
